Metering! It's my Passion!
Bradley 'Metergod' Harris
Journeyman METERMAN. Electricty Meter TRAINER. MENTOR. Keeper of the Craft. FRIEND. Keynote SPEAKER. Technical AUTHOR. VOICE of Metering. ENTREPRENUER.
HELLO
MY NAME IS
Bradley "Metergod" Harris
Why I do this?
I have found that, in my passion for this craft, I also have a knack for teaching and training others effectively on how to do this work. I love sharing metering stories, hearing the stories of others and creating resources that help others understand electricity metering; I love sharing this craft bond with those who are in need of (or want) this type of training and knowledge.
As a technical trainer I have always wanted a well designed and thought out program with full color drawings for training. Having had the time to author & create a series of technical metering reference books, this dream has become a reality.
Journeyman Meterman and Relay Technician
I have been blessed to learn from each Mentor and Apprentice on my metering journey, which has brought me to where I am today:
Able to build a company to share my passion of and for electricity metering with those who are very new and those who are already well established in their career.
Because of this journey, I can now add Author, Keynote Speaker, Activist and Philanthropist.
Through all of this, we are finding a 'voice' for metering professionals around the world through our "Keepers of the Craft" forums and
creating guides for improving work flows, raising the quality of training and identifying key aspects of the Metering Trade and bringing awareness to those who
"Just don't know what they
don't know".
What can I do for you?
I can bring a fresh perspective for safety to those in the utility or any trade industry with apprentice / journeyman or master craftsman instructional program.
I can deliver remarkable training and quality assessments for electrical metering and related field craft personnel; as well as, Customer Service, Metering for Managers and Power for Engineers.
I can offer a wealth of guidance from gained knowledge, experience, and direct input on AMI Program implementation strategies, RFP documentation and various aspects of the impact of the programs reach from customer to company.
I make a living doing what I love!
I love training! Especially apprentices excited about learning the craft.
I love being on the road traveling to new places.
I love giving back to my craft, strengthening my shoulders for those yet to climb.
I love having training materials that are easy to reference and use.
All of these combined 'loves' drive me to keep training and I will probably continue to do so until I am no longer able to talk. Technology allows me the freedom and diversity to provide a fully interactive learning experience via Webinar Training Sessions.
When the day comes, that travel becomes too much, I'll still be right here answering questions and sharing my knowledge with anyone seeking to build their shoulders and further their careers.
